Our Mission

The Canadian Mar Thoma Church, Toronto, a parish of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church, Kerala, India, exists to fulfill the call of Christ by nurturing faith, inspiring passionate worship, building an authentic and caring community, and equipping disciples to live out their faith in daily life. We proclaim and celebrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, witness, and service. Rooted in our Christian heritage, rich liturgy, sacramental life, and faith in the Holy Scriptures, we strive to live out Christ’s command to “love one another as I have loved you.” Living out our motto, “Lighted to Lighten,” we strive to shine the light of Christ’s love and truth, bringing hope, healing, and transformation to our community and the world.
